Writing Ad Copy with AI
This page is a one-minute decision guide. The Ad copy card in the AI Creative Studio holds two separate flows, switched with the pill buttons at the top of the card, and each one has its own full guide.
| Pill | Use it when | Full guide |
|---|---|---|
| Generate | You have nothing written yet — you describe the campaign and the AI writes the post | Generating ad copy |
| Refine | You already have copy and want it tightened, sharpened, or shortened | Refining ad copy |
What the two flows share
- One meter. Both spend one unit from the same AI text today allowance shown at the top of the Studio. There is no separate Generate budget and Refine budget.
- One content policy. Both check your prompt against the content rules before anything is generated, and a declined prompt costs you nothing. See Content rules for AI.
- One refund guarantee. If the AI fails or returns nothing, your action is handed straight back and the message says "no action was used."
- The same output style. One short post, under 600 characters, hook first and call to action last, formatted with Telegram-safe bold, italic, and links only.
- The same pacing. After each attempt the button counts down for a few seconds before you can run it again.
Not sure which to pick?
If you can describe the campaign in a sentence, use Generate. If you can already paste a draft, use Refine — it never invents facts, so it is the safer choice for copy that has already been approved somewhere else.
