Deleting a channel
Deleting a channel removes its listing from your Onflow Ads account. You might do this because you sold or closed the channel, changed its public handle on Telegram, or simply no longer want it listed. This page covers exactly how deletion works and what it does — and does not — remove.
There is no trash, no grace period and no undo. The listing, its setup and its uploaded photo are gone the moment you confirm. To list the channel again, you start over: re-add it, redo the setup wizard, and pass review from scratch.
Step by step
- Open https://onflowads.com/telegram/dashboard and scroll to My channels.
- On the channel's row, click Delete.
- The button arms and changes to Confirm delete. Click it again within about four seconds to go through with it. If you do nothing, the button safely reverts to Delete and nothing happens — a stray click can never delete a channel on its own.
- While the request runs, the button shows Deleting…. On success, the row fades out of your list. If it was your last channel, the list returns to its empty state: "No channels yet — add your first public channel to get started."
You can delete at any status
Deletion works no matter where the channel is in its lifecycle:
| Status when deleted | Effect |
|---|---|
| Draft | The unsubmitted listing is discarded |
| Pending review | The channel leaves the moderation queue — it will not be reviewed |
| Approved | The listing comes out of the network |
| Needs changes | The listing and the reviewer's note are discarded |
This is also the only way to "edit" a Pending review or Approved channel yourself, since those statuses are locked — delete, re-add, and go through review again with the new details.
What is deleted — and what is not
Removed with the channel:
- the listing itself (name, description, category, keywords, prices, audience info),
- the uploaded or cached channel photo,
- its review status and any reviewer note.
Not touched:
- your Telegram channel itself — Onflow Ads never posts to, changes or deletes anything on Telegram when you delete a listing,
- your Onflow Ads account, wallet balance and transaction history,
- your tracked links and their statistics,
- your notifications history,
- your reliability score and its ledger — the score belongs to your account, not to any one channel,
- your other channels — each listing is independent.
Deleting the listing does not remove our bot from the channel's admin list — that is done on Telegram, by you. If you plan to re-list the channel later, leaving the bot in place means verification passes instantly next time. If not, you can remove it from your channel's administrator settings in Telegram.
Re-listing a deleted channel
Nothing stops you from adding the same channel again later — the "You've already added that channel" rule only applies while a listing exists. Re-listing means the full journey:
- Add the channel again and pass verification.
- Complete the setup wizard — none of the old listing's details are remembered.
- Submit for review and wait for the decision.
FAQ
I clicked Delete by accident — is my channel gone?
No. A single click only arms the button; it must be clicked a second time, as Confirm delete, within a few seconds. If you did not click twice, nothing was deleted.
Can I delete a channel while it has activity on other engines?
The delete button is always available in My channels. Commitments you have made on other engines are governed by those engines' own rules — deleting a listing does not settle or cancel anything you agreed to elsewhere, and walking away from active deals can affect your reliability score.
Does deleting a channel affect my reliability score?
Not by itself. Deleting a listing is not a penalty. Your score only moves on the confirmed outcomes listed in its rulebook.
