Creatives: Posts and Delivery
The creative is the promotional post itself — the text and buttons that will actually appear in a channel. Every 1:1 campaign has two creatives: yours (promoting your channel, running in your partner's channel) and your partner's (running in yours). Each side builds their own and approves the other's.
Once your campaign has a partner, the campaign page (https://onflowads.com/telegram/dashboard/cross-promotion/campaign/YOUR-CODE) grows a Posts & delivery section. You can build posts at any point while the campaign is being set up — before or after the schedule is confirmed.
The status chips
At the top of the section, chips show where things stand:
- Your post: built / not built
- Partner post: built / not built
- Ready for go-live — appears when both posts are built and both reviews are approved.
Writing your post
Your post is the promo for your channel that runs in your partner's channel — the hint under the heading says exactly that: "This runs in your partner's channel."
- Under "Your cross-promotion post", write your promo text (up to 1,024 characters).
- Optionally add up to 6 link buttons — each needs a label (up to 64 characters) and a full web link (starting with
http://orhttps://). Use + Add button for more rows and the ✕ button to remove one. Buttons render under the post in Telegram, so they're the natural place for your channel link, a lead magnet, or a pinned-post link. - Not sure what to write? 🤖 Draft with AI writes a first draft grounded in your channel's profile and tuned to your partner's audience — you'll see "Drafted — edit it to taste, then save." Edit it, then save. (Uses one of your daily AI actions; if you're out, the page says "You've used today's AI actions.")
- Press Save post (or Update post if you're editing). The page confirms "Post saved."
A saved post shows "Saved — you can still edit it until go-live."
Editing resets approval
You can edit your post right up until go-live — but every save resets your partner's approval of it, and they must approve the new version before delivery can proceed. Edit late and you may delay the hand-off.
What a post can't contain
Posts are text plus link buttons. Empty posts can't be saved ("Write your post text first."), button labels are capped at 64 characters, and links must be full web URLs. Content that breaks Telegram's or Onflow Ads' rules can be rejected at save time with a message explaining why.
Reviewing your partner's post
Under "Your partner's post" you see a preview of the post that will run in your channel — its text plus its buttons ("This runs in YOUR channel. Approve it, or send it back for a change."):
- Approve — you're happy for it to run in your channel. The page then shows "You approved this".
- Send back — clears their post so they rebuild it; they get a nudge asking for a revision.
If they haven't built anything yet, you'll see "Waiting for your partner to build their post."
Once both posts are built, a review clock starts — the page shows the exact deadline ("Unanswered reviews auto-approve after ..."). Any review left unanswered when the clock runs out is automatically approved, marked "(auto)", so a silent partner can't strand a fully built campaign. If you care about what runs in your channel, review promptly.
You'll get Telegram DMs when a post is ready for your review and when your own post is sent back.
The hand-off: automatic delivery
When all four things are true — the campaign is Confirmed, both posts are built, both reviews are approved (by hand or auto), and the go-live time is still ahead — the campaign automatically moves to Scheduled and both of you get a DM: everything is locked in, and nothing more needs to be done manually.
From then on, our delivery bot runs the campaign:
- At go-live, it publishes each side's post into the other's channel. (This is why the bot must be an admin of both channels.)
- During the run, the campaign page shows a Live now badge and live results.
- At the end of the run, the bot removes both posts automatically and the campaign completes.
The campaign page describes it while Scheduled: "Both posts are approved — our bot publishes them at go-live and removes them at the end automatically. You can still cancel any time before go-live."
While the campaign is Scheduled (before go-live) either side can still cancel it from the campaign page; once it starts going live, it can no longer be cancelled. The delivery statuses — Scheduled, Going live, Live now, Wrapping up, Completed, Didn't run — are covered in Campaign lifecycle.
Some plans include campaign insurance (the plan strip on the page shows a 🛡️ badge when it applies, and the scheduling DM says so). On an insured campaign, if one side's post is taken down early, our automated monitoring compensates the wronged side. A campaign is insured when either partner's plan includes it, or when insurance was bought as an add-on in the Telegram bot.
Timeline at a glance
- Partner joins and the schedule is confirmed.
- Both sides build posts (any time while the campaign is being set up — before or after confirming the schedule).
- Both sides review — 6-hour auto-approve backstop.
- Campaign flips to Scheduled and both parties are notified.
- Bot posts at go-live → Live → posts removed at the end → Completed.
- Campaign results become available, then rate your partner.
Blitz creatives
In a Blitz campaign the shape changes: the creator builds one post that runs in every partner's channel, and each partner writes their post while claiming their slot on the join page. Same composer, same limits (1,024 characters, up to 6 buttons) — but no per-post review step; instead the creator sees every partner's post before launching, and every partner sees the creator's post before claiming.
FAQ
I approved, but the campaign isn't Scheduled
Delivery needs all of: confirmed schedule, both posts built, both reviews approved, and a go-live still in the future. If your partner edited their post after your approval, your approval reset — re-approve the new version. If the go-live slipped into the past, propose a new time.
Can I use formatting, photos or videos in my post?
The website composer takes plain text plus link buttons. Keep it short and punchy — 1,024 characters is a hard cap, and shorter promos generally perform better.
What does "(auto)" next to an approval mean?
The review clock ran out and the post was approved automatically after 6 hours. If an auto-approved post really isn't acceptable, you can still edit your own post (which resets nothing on their side) — or cancel the campaign before go-live if the partner won't fix theirs.
My partner keeps sending my post back — what do they see?
Sending back clears your post entirely on their side and DMs you for a revision. Ask them what they'd like changed — the optional request message and your normal chat are the place to align.
