Prices and Offers
Your rate card is the product. This page covers everything that decides what you sell and at what price: the formats on offer, how to price them, the two automatic pricing tools, the discounts you can fund, and the flash deals you can run.
For everything about when your channel can be booked — lead time, blackout dates, daily capacity, auto-accept — see Managing your availability.
Where the controls live
There are two places, and it is worth knowing which is which — because only one of them sends your listing back through verification.
| Screen | How to open it | What it holds | Saving re-verifies? |
|---|---|---|---|
| The listing wizard | Manage listing on your owner desk, or Edit pricing & rules on the listing manager | Prices, formats, buyer perks, prohibited topics | Yes — subject to the re-verification cooldown |
| The listing manager page | The Manage channel button on the Telegram message you get when a listing is verified (its address is /telegram/dashboard/paid-promotion/listing/ followed by your listing's id) | Dynamic pricing, spotlight deals, sponsorship, lead time, auto-accept, blackout dates | No — every change saves instantly on a live listing |
The practical rule: anything that changes what you sell goes through the wizard; anything that tunes a live listing does not.
The placement formats
A format is a promise about where the post sits and for how long. Onflow Ads measures and enforces both halves — the pinned hours and the in-feed duration — so what you price is what the monitor later checks.
| Format | What the buyer gets | Promised time in feed |
|---|---|---|
| 1 hour top · 24 hours in feed | Pinned to the very top for 1 hour, then stays in the feed for a full day | 24 hours |
| 2 hours top · 48 hours in feed | Two hours pinned at the top, then two days live in the feed | 48 hours |
| 3 hours top · 72 hours in feed | Three hours pinned, then three days in the feed — maximum dwell time | 72 hours |
| Native · 7 days in feed · 1 hour top | A softer, longer-lived placement that quietly lives in the feed for a week | 7 days |
| 30 days in feed · 3 hours top | A full month of presence with a three-hour pin at launch | 30 days |
| Forward / repost | The ad is forwarded from the advertiser's channel, keeping the original source visible | 24 hours |
| Permanent pin | The post stays pinned to the top until the campaign ends — your most premium slot | 7 days |
Two things follow from that table:
- The promised duration is also your payout clock. On the entry plan, escrow releases once the promised in-feed duration has run from delivery. A 30-day format therefore holds money far longer than a 24-hour one. Higher plans cap or short-circuit that wait — see Escrow and getting paid.
- Only the numbered formats have a policed pin window. The monitor can check "2 hours at the top" exactly; for the named formats it checks that the post still exists.
The listing wizard collects the first four. The rest can appear on a rate card and are shown to buyers with the same descriptions.
Your rate card
The Rate card panel on the listing manager lists every format you have priced, each with the buyer-facing description and your price, plus Edit pricing & rules to change them. Under it sit chips summarising your rules — for example "Links OK", "Marks the post as an ad", your lead time, and "Max N ads/day" when you have a daily cap.
The note beneath spells out the money: buyers are quoted your price plus Onflow Ads's commission (the exact percentage is shown), and your payout lands in your wallet after each verified placement.
The hero of the page shows the "from" price buyers see — your required 1 hour top slot.
Placement prices are set in whole US dollars, with a $1 floor on the required format.
Suggested pricing
The wizard's pricing step carries a live suggestion for each format, and it is honest about where the number came from:
- Peer-based — when enough comparable channels exist in your category, the suggestion is built from what those peers actually charge, scaled to your subscriber count.
- Reach-based — when the category is too thin to learn from, it is estimated from your own reach, and the panel says so rather than pretending to a market rate.
- Surge — when your category is booking unusually hot, a percentage is added and the reason is shown, for example that the category is booking a given number of placements per channel per week.
Apply suggestions fills every format you have left empty and confirms what it did ("Applied to N formats · left M you'd already priced"). Formats you have already priced are never overwritten.
Dynamic pricing
The Dynamic pricing panel lets your prices track demand automatically — "it rises when your calendar fills and eases when it's quiet, always within the band you set."
- Tick Track demand automatically.
- Set the band: Swing at most ± N %, between 5 and 50, in steps of 5.
- Press Save.
How it behaves:
- Your current prices are saved as the baseline at the moment you switch it on.
- Prices float up as your calendar fills and ease down when it is quiet, never leaving the band.
- Turning it off restores your exact original prices. Nothing is lost by trying it.
Dynamic pricing measures "full" against your max ads per day capacity. Without a per-day cap set on the listing, it holds your base prices and does nothing. See Managing your availability.
Buyer perks
Perks are small discounts you fund out of your own price to win specific buyers. You set them in the listing wizard's Rules step, under "Buyer perks — your offer, moves your payout too".
| Perk | Who gets it |
|---|---|
| Repeat buyers | An advertiser who has booked your channel before |
| First-time buyers | An advertiser's first booking on your channel |
Each is Off, −5%, −10% or −15%. Buyers see the discount applied automatically at checkout, so it converts without any negotiation. Because the discount comes off the price, it also comes off your payout — the booking card always shows the payout you will actually receive.
Having perks enabled also earns points toward your Standing score, which feeds the marketplace's recommended sort. See Promoting your listing.
Spotlight deals
A Spotlight is a limited-time flash discount on one format, shown to advertisers on the marketplace spotlight rail — "advertisers see it on the marketplace spotlight rail" is exactly how the panel describes it. It is the fastest lever you have for filling a quiet week.
To run one, from the Spotlight deal panel on the listing manager:
- Choose the Format — the dropdown lists your priced formats with their current prices.
- Set the Discount % — between 10 and 80.
- Set Runs (hours) — from 1 hour up to 14 days' worth of hours.
- Check the live preview: "Buyers pay
$40$28". - Press Launch spotlight.
While one is running, the panel shows a highlighted row with the discount, the format, the struck-through original price, the deal price and the end date, plus End early to stop it.
Rules that depend on your plan (the panel shows your own numbers):
- Only a live listing can run a spotlight. A listing still in review cannot.
- Cooldown — how soon after one spotlight you can run the next on that channel: 5 days apart on Free, shorter on paid plans, none on the top plan. Inside the cooldown the panel reads "Your next spotlight unlocks on ..." with the date.
- Concurrency — how many spotlights you can run at once across all your channels. The panel shows "N slots available".
- One at a time per channel. A channel with a live spotlight cannot start a second until the first ends.
A newly launched spotlight sits at the top of the marketplace rail as "fresh" for its first hours, which is when most of its traffic arrives.
Audience information
A listing can also carry self-declared audience details — who your subscribers are and where they come from. Filling these in counts toward the profile-completeness part of your Standing score.
Be honest here. Everything else on your page is measured by Onflow Ads — subscribers, average views, engagement, delivered views — and buyers notice when the one self-reported part does not match the rest. The subscriber-source answer in particular is shown on your public channel page.
How a buyer's price is actually built
Useful to know when a booking's payout is not simply your list price:
- Your format price (as adjusted by dynamic pricing, if on).
- Minus any spotlight discount on that format.
- Minus any buyer perk the advertiser qualifies for.
- Plus a rush premium if they are booking at short notice inside your lead time — that premium goes to you.
- Plus Onflow Ads's commission on the buyer's side. Your payout is the resulting base minus the commission on your side.
Every booking request shows the result plainly: "you receive $X after N% fee". That number is fixed at the moment the booking is priced and does not move afterwards — unless you counter at a different price, in which case your payout scales with the new price at the same ratio.
FAQ
Do I have to offer every format?
No. Only "1 hour top · 24 hours in feed" is required. Offering more formats does earn Standing points and gives buyers more ways to spend with you.
If I raise my prices, what happens to bookings already placed?
Nothing. A booking's price and your payout are fixed when it is created. Price changes only apply to new bookings.
Can I run a spotlight and a perk on the same booking?
Yes — a buyer can qualify for a perk on a spotlighted format. Both come out of your price, so check the preview before launching a deep discount on a format that already carries a −15% perk.
Why is my price different from the suggestion?
The suggestion is advice, never a control. Nothing changes your prices except you, or dynamic pricing inside the band you set.
Where do I set "max ads per day"?
It is a listing capacity that powers occupancy analytics and dynamic pricing. See Managing your availability for what it does and how it interacts with everything else.
