Renewing your membership

Renewing means buying another term of the tier you already hold. Nothing on Onflow Ads auto-renews, so a membership only continues if you renew it yourself — and because renewals extend rather than replace, doing it early never costs you anything.

Why you'd use it

  • To keep your tier running. When a term ends, your account reads as Free again and every paid benefit stops. Renewing before that keeps everything continuous.
  • To switch billing period. Renewing is also how you move from monthly to yearly (or back). A yearly renewal simply adds 365 days instead of 30.
  • To stock up. Terms stack. Renewing several times adds several terms.

Before you start

  • You must already hold the tier you're renewing (the button only appears on your own tier's card).
  • Your wallet needs to cover the price. Top up on the wallet page if it doesn't.
  • A lifetime membership can't be renewed — see Lifetime memberships below.

Step by step

  1. Open onflowads.com/pricing. The membership card at the top shows your tier, the Active pill, "Renews [date] · N days left", and your wallet balance.

  2. Choose Monthly or Yearly with the billing toggle (tagged Save 15%). This is the term you're about to add — it does not have to match the term you originally bought.

  3. Click Renew [tier] on your current tier's card. Under the button you'll see "Extends your current term — no days lost."

  4. Review the Confirm your renewal window. It reads "The new term is added on top of your remaining time. The amount is deducted from your wallet balance." The summary shows:

    • Membership — your tier.
    • Billing — "Monthly · 30 days" or "Yearly · 365 days".
    • Legacy price lock — Applied — only on Plus, and only for grandfathered legacy Premium accounts.
    • Total — the exact charge.
    • Wallet after — your balance after it.
  5. Click Renew [amount]. The charge is taken from your wallet in one debit.

  6. Read the confirmation. A success window confirms the new active-until date, and the membership card refreshes with the extended expiry and the new days-remaining count.

What renewing does to your dates

The new term is added to whatever you have left. Some worked examples:

BeforeYou renewAfter
Plus, 12 days leftMonthly (30 days)Plus, 42 days left
Plus, 12 days leftYearly (365 days)Plus, 377 days left
Elite, 2 days leftMonthlyElite, 32 days left

Renewing early is free

There is no penalty and no lost time for renewing three weeks ahead of expiry — the days you already paid for are carried forward. Renewing early is simply insurance against forgetting.

If your membership has already expired, renewing is treated as a fresh purchase: the term starts from today, and your tier comes back on immediately.

The expiry reminders

If your Telegram account is linked, the bot sends you a series of reminders as expiry approaches — at 7 days, 3 days, 24 hours, 6 hours, 2 hours and 30 minutes before the date. Each one shows:

  • Your tier and roughly how long is left, with the exact expiry timestamp.
  • A Keep [tier] line — renew and keep exactly what you have.
  • An Upgrade to [next tier] line, with a few of the biggest differences that tier would bring.

The buttons are Renew [tier], Upgrade to [next tier] and View All Plans. Each reminder is sent at most once per term, and the sequence resets when you renew or change tier.

Rules and limits

  • Nothing auto-renews. You are only ever charged when you press a pay button.
  • Renewals extend, never overwrite. Remaining days are always carried forward.
  • The billing period is locked in when the checkout opens. Flipping the toggle behind the open window can't change what you're billed.
  • The renewal price is the standard price for your tier, unless you hold the legacy $11 price lock on Plus, in which case the locked price applies. See How billing works.
  • The first-purchase discount does not apply to renewals — it is only ever granted on a genuinely first premium purchase.
  • Renewing does not change your entitlements. Same tier in, same tier out; only the expiry moves.

Lifetime memberships can't be renewed

Some accounts hold a membership with no expiry date. The membership card shows a Lifetime pill and the line "Lifetime membership — never expires.", and your tier's card button reads Current plan instead of Renew.

If a renewal is somehow attempted anyway, the server answers: "Your [tier] membership is already lifetime — there is nothing to extend." Nothing is charged. A lifetime membership can still be upgraded — see Upgrading your tier.

Edge cases

Your wallet is short

The checkout shows Wallet after in red and swaps the pay button for Top up wallet. Nothing is charged. Top up and come back — your selection is one tap away. If the balance changes between opening the window and pressing the button, you get the Insufficient wallet balance message instead, again with nothing charged.

You want to renew into a different tier

That isn't a renewal. Buying a higher tier is an upgrade (it replaces your term — see Upgrading your tier), and buying a lower tier is blocked until your current membership expires (see Downgrading and letting a plan lapse).

You renewed in the bot and on the website at nearly the same time

Purchases are serialised: the second one is judged against the state the first one wrote, so it extends your term again rather than doing anything unexpected. You are charged once per completed purchase.

You're a legacy Premium account

While your legacy membership is active — or has lapsed less than 30 days ago — Plus renews at your locked legacy price, and the checkout shows a Legacy price lock — Applied row. Renewing keeps the lock. Letting it lapse for 30 days or more, or upgrading past Plus, releases it permanently.

Frequently asked

Do I lose days if I renew early?

No. The new term is added on top of the days you already have.

Can I switch from monthly to yearly when renewing?

Yes. Flip the billing toggle to Yearly before clicking Renew — it adds 365 days at the 15% yearly discount, on top of whatever is left.

How many times can I renew in advance?

There is no cap on stacking terms; each completed renewal adds another full term.

What if I forget and my plan expires?

Nothing is deleted — your account, channels, listings, campaigns, history and wallet balance are all untouched. Only the tier benefits stop, and limits and fees fall back to Free-tier values. Renew whenever you're ready, and the tier comes back on immediately. See Downgrading and letting a plan lapse.

Will I be told before it expires?

Yes, if your Telegram is linked — six escalating reminders, starting a week ahead. The membership card on the website also shows the days remaining every time you open it.
