Notifications from the Bot
Once your Telegram is connected — or you signed in through the bot — Onflow Ads delivers your updates on three channels at once:
| Channel | Timing | Can you turn it off? |
|---|---|---|
| In-app — the notification feed on the website | Instant | No. The feed always records everything. |
| Instant, or batched into an hourly or daily digest | Yes, per category | |
| Telegram DM — sent by the bot | Always instant, never batched | Yes, per category |
A DM is never a dead end. Every notification carries a button that opens the exact page it is about — usually straight into the Mini App.
A DM only reaches you if both are true: your Onflow Ads account is paired with your Telegram, and you have started the bot at least once. Connecting from the website satisfies both in one go, because the connection flow starts the chat.
What the bot sends you
Cross-promotion campaigns
These come from the bot itself, as it runs your campaign.
| Message | When | What is in it | Buttons |
|---|---|---|---|
| Partner Post Review | During setup, when your partner submits their promotional post | The exact post as it will appear — photos, caption and buttons — followed by a control message reading "Accept this post to proceed, or decline to ask your partner to make changes." | Accept and Reject, right in the chat |
| Post Accepted | You accepted the partner's post | Confirmation, and "Waiting for the other party to finish their review..." until they do | — |
| Post Changes Requested | You declined the partner's post | "Your partner has been asked to rebuild and resubmit their post." | — |
| Post Declined | Your partner declined your post | "Your partner declined your promotional post. Please rebuild and resubmit it on the website to continue." | — |
| Campaign Scheduled! | Both posts approved | CP Code, Start Time, Duration, and "Both posts have been approved. The campaign will go live automatically at the scheduled time." | View Campaign |
| Campaign is Live! | The moment posts go up | CP Code, Campaign name, Duration and the exact Ends At time | Open Live Dashboard — the Live Campaign Tracker |
| Campaign Complete! | The campaign finished and posts were removed | CP Code, Campaign, Duration, Your Ad Opens, Partner Ad Opens, the subscriber change for each side, and any campaign credit earned | View Campaign, and Open Wallet where credit was earned |
| Blitz Campaign Complete! | A Blitz campaign finished | The same figures plus a Slot Breakdown — per-partner opens — and Total Ad Opens across all slots | View Campaign |
| Monthly CP Report | Once a month | Campaigns Completed, Total Ad Opens and Campaign Credits Earned for the month | — |
A Blitz is one initiator promoted across several partner channels at once. Its messages carry a slot number, such as "Campaign is Live! (Slot 2)", so you always know which pairing a figure belongs to.
If a violation flag was raised on your account for a campaign, the completion message says so in a line of its own, so you are never surprised later.
Paid Promotions
| Message | Who gets it | What it means | Button |
|---|---|---|---|
| New booking request | Channel owner | An advertiser has booked a placement on your channel. The card carries the booking details. | Review & respond — opens that exact booking on your bookings desk, where you accept, decline or handle it |
| Order progress | Advertiser | Placed, accepted, declined, delivered and completed updates as your order moves | View order |
| Your channel is live! | Channel owner | Your listing passed verification: "is now in the Paid Promotions pool and advertisers can book placements on it. You can edit your prices, run a limited-time sale, or update your details any time." | Manage channel |
| Channel re-verified | Channel owner | The same, after a re-check | Manage channel |
| Channel needs attention | Channel owner | Verification did not pass, with the reason, and "Fix the issue and submit again from your manage page." | Manage channel |
Bookings that expire unanswered count against your reliability score. The DM exists precisely so you hear about a request the minute it arrives — see the Reliability page for how the score works.
Once a booking has been dealt with, the buttons on the original DM are retired so you cannot act on it twice, and a short note may be attached to the card explaining the outcome.
Subscriber Exchange
| Message | When | What is in it |
|---|---|---|
| Your ad is approved | A reviewer approved your exchange ad | Your ad's ID, how many channels it goes out to, over how many days, and that placements are spread out rather than all at once. It also notes that every placement stays up for 24 hours and that you get the numbers each time. |
| Your ad was not approved | A reviewer declined it | Your ad's ID and the reviewer's reason, word for word, plus "Fix it and submit again — declines do not affect your reliability." |
| Your appeal was accepted | Your appeal succeeded | "The decline is reversed — it is approved and now runs across the exchange." |
| Your appeal was not accepted | Your appeal did not succeed | The reason where one was given, and that you can fix the ad and submit it fresh. |
The number of channels and the number of days are shown in the message itself.
Money
| Message | When |
|---|---|
| Top-up succeeded | Funds arrived and were added to your wallet balance |
| Top-up failed | A payment did not go through |
| Refund | Money came back to your wallet |
| Withdrawal update | Your withdrawal was approved, paid or rejected |
| Premium activated | A plan was charged from your wallet and switched on |
| Rewards and credit | Credit added to your wallet, for example after a clean cross-promotion |
Boost Metrics
| Message | When |
|---|---|
| Boost completed | Your boost order finished delivering |
| Boost partially delivered | Delivery stopped short; the shortfall is handled automatically |
| Auto-boost paused | A recurring boost subscription stopped and needs your attention |
System
Account, security and platform updates.
The buttons you will see
Notifications always carry a way onward. The exact button depends on what the message is about:
| Button | Opens |
|---|---|
| Open Onflow Ads | Your dashboard |
| Open Wallet | Your wallet |
| View order / My Orders | The relevant orders page |
| Review & respond | The exact booking on your bookings desk |
| Manage channel | That channel's management page |
| Open Live Dashboard / View Campaign | The campaign view for that CP code |
| View Plans | The premium plans page |
| My Account | Your account page |
| Contact Support | The support desk |
Most open inside Telegram as a Mini App. A few open in your browser instead, where that works better.
Choosing what you receive
- Open Notifications from your dashboard, at onflowads.com/telegram/dashboard/notifications.
- Switch to the Settings tab.
- Under Notify me about you will see a grid — one row per category, with an Email column and a Telegram column:
| Category | Covers |
|---|---|
| Orders | Requests, acceptances, delivered posts and completions |
| Payments | Successful and failed wallet top-ups |
| System | Account, security and platform updates |
- Flip any toggle. Changes save by themselves — Saved appears at the bottom of the page.
Your in-app feed always records everything regardless of these toggles, so nothing is ever lost. Switching a Telegram toggle off means that category is simply not sent to you as a DM.
Email frequency
The same Settings tab has an Email frequency choice with three options:
- Send each email right away
- Hourly digest — one email an hour
- Daily digest — one email a day
Digest settings batch emails only. Telegram DMs are always instant, whatever you pick.
Time-critical emails skip the digest too — a failed payment, a declined order, a delivered ad whose confirmation window is ticking, a rejected withdrawal, a short-delivered boost, and a paused auto-boost all send immediately.
Reading your history
The History tab of the same page is the full feed. You can filter it by All, Orders, Payments and System, use Mark all read, and pull older entries in with Load more.
Rules and edge cases
Delivery is best-effort and never blocking. If a DM cannot be delivered — you blocked the bot, or Telegram is having a bad minute — your order, payment or campaign still proceeds exactly as normal. The in-app feed and email are unaffected.
Blocking the bot silently stops DMs. Telegram does not let us re-open a chat you closed. Unblock the bot and send /start once to resume; nothing needs reconnecting.
Starting the bot is not the same as being linked. If your account is not paired with your Telegram, the Settings tab shows a banner reading "Want alerts on Telegram too? Start our bot". Follow it, or see Connecting Your Telegram.
Premium styling. On a paid plan the bot's messages arrive with animated icons and styled buttons; on the free plan the same messages arrive plainly. The wording, the figures and the buttons are identical.
Cross-promotion review buttons are the exception. Almost nothing is decided inside the chat — but Accept and Reject on a Partner Post Review are, because you are looking at the post right there. Everything else routes to a page.
Old buttons do nothing. Buttons from the bot's retired chat interface answer with a pop-up reading "Manage everything at onflowads.com".
Not getting DMs?
Work through these in order:
- Are you linked? Open the Settings tab. If it shows the "Start our bot" banner, your account is not paired yet.
- Is the category on? Check the Telegram toggle for the category you are missing.
- Is the bot blocked or the chat deleted? Unblock it in Telegram and send
/startonce. - Is it a category with no toggle of its own? Some updates ride along with the categories above; if you muted Orders you will also stop hearing about order-shaped events.
- Still nothing? Open the support desk — your in-app feed will still have every event, so nothing has been missed in the meantime.
Short FAQ
Can I get Telegram alerts without email?
Yes. Turn the Email toggle off and leave Telegram on for that category.
Will I get the same update twice?
You may see the same event in the feed, in an email and as a DM — one event, three channels. That is by design, and each channel is switchable except the feed.
Do notifications cost anything?
No.
Can teammates get my notifications?
Notifications go to the account they belong to, and one account pairs with exactly one Telegram. There is no fan-out to several people.
