The Live Campaign Tracker
The moment a cross-promotion campaign the bot is running goes live, both partners get a DM headed Campaign is Live! It lists your CP code, the campaign name, the duration and the exact end time — and carries an Open Live Dashboard button.
That button opens the Live Campaign Tracker, a Mini App belonging to the bot that refreshes itself every few seconds for as long as the campaign runs. You never need to pull to refresh; new opens flash in as they happen, with a small haptic tap on supported devices.
Telegram gives channel owners no way to see how many people engaged with a post. The tracker is where that missing number lives — for both sides of the swap, at the same time, from the same source.
Opening it
| Route | Works? |
|---|---|
| The Open Live Dashboard button on the "Campaign is Live!" DM | Yes — this is the intended route |
| The View Campaign button on other campaign DMs | Yes |
| Opening the page without a campaign code | No — it shows "Missing campaign code. Open this link from the bot." |
Keep the DMs. If you run several campaigns at once, each campaign's own DM is the way back into its tracker.
While it connects you will briefly see "Connecting to live campaign...". If the connection drops it says "Failed to connect. Retrying..." and keeps trying by itself.
What the tracker shows
Status
A status pill at the top tells you where the campaign is in its life:
| Status | Meaning | What you should do |
|---|---|---|
| SCHEDULED | Queued; the timer counts down to launch. | Nothing — posting is automatic. |
| EXECUTING | Posts are being published right now. | Nothing. |
| LIVE | Ads are up in both channels; opens and growth are being counted. | Watch, or leave it be. |
| CLEANING | The campaign ended and the bot is removing the posts. | Nothing. |
| COMPLETED | All done — the final numbers are frozen. | Read the report DM. |
| FAILED | Something prevented the campaign from running. | Use Report an Issue with This Campaign. |
Countdown timer
- While scheduled — "Campaign starts in", with a live countdown.
- While live — "Campaign ends in", with the exact end date and time underneath. The timer turns amber in the final hour and red in the final ten minutes.
- When completed — the timer is replaced by "COMPLETE".
Mini-App opens, in real time
Under the heading Mini-App Opens — Real Time, two counters update live:
- Your Ad Opens — how many people opened your ad in the partner's channel.
- Partner Ad Opens — how many people opened the partner's ad in your channel.
Underneath is a running Total opens this campaign.
These count real opens of the promoted content. Repeat taps by the same person are not counted again, so the figure reflects genuine interest rather than one enthusiastic reader. Taps after the campaign has ended do not count either. For exactly how an open is recorded, see Ad Posts and Click Tracking.
Audience growth since launch
Under Audience Growth Since Launch, the net change in your channel's member count since the campaign started — a live positive or negative number, labelled "Net new members since campaign started".
This is a straight before-and-after count of your channel's members, so it includes people who arrived for reasons unrelated to the campaign. Read it alongside the opens figure, not instead of it.
Partner channel
The Partner Channel card shows the partner's channel name, handle and subscriber count, and your own under Your Channel. It also rates Audience Overlap by comparing the two channels' sizes:
| Rating | What it suggests |
|---|---|
| Very Different / Different | Minimal audience overlap expected — generally good, since more of the partner's readers are new to you. |
| Moderate | Some overlap possible; how well your niches align matters more here. |
| Similar / Very Similar | Similarly sized channels may share the same audience — expect more overlap and fewer genuinely new members. |
Blitz campaigns: per-slot analytics
If your campaign is a Blitz — one initiator promoted across several partner channels at once — the single partner card is replaced by Blitz Slots — Per-Partner Analytics: one row per partner slot, each showing that partner's channel and the opens for your ad and theirs, side by side.
That is how you tell which partner actually delivered, rather than seeing only a combined total.
Campaign insurance
Where insurance is enabled on the campaign, a Campaign Insurance card shows its state:
| State | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Active — Protected | "Your campaign is insured against early post removal." |
| Triggered — Violation Detected | A violation was found, and the compensation shown on the card has been credited to your wallet. |
Credit earned
When the campaign completes, a Campaign Credit Earned card appears with the amount added to your wallet for a clean completion, marked "Added to your wallet automatically".
The amount depends on your plan, and is shown on the card. Premium members earn boost credit for every clean campaign they initiate; the completion DM says as much, and points joiners at starting their own next time.
Buttons
| Button | What it does |
|---|---|
| Back to Bot | Closes the tracker and returns you to the chat. |
| Report an Issue with This Campaign | Shows instructions for reporting a problem with this specific campaign, including the CP code to quote. |
Rules and edge cases
One tracker per campaign. The tracker is tied to a single CP code. Running five campaigns means five DMs and five trackers.
It stops polling at the end. Once a campaign reaches a final state — completed, failed or cancelled — the tracker stops refreshing but keeps showing the final numbers, so you can reopen it later as a record.
Numbers can differ from the completion DM by a moment. The DM is written when the campaign closes; the tracker is live up to that instant. Once the campaign is complete, both show the same frozen figures.
A missing partner card means the campaign has no partner attached yet, which is normal while it is still SCHEDULED.
Opening the page outside Telegram is not supported — the tracker is a Mini App and expects to be opened from a bot button.
Nothing here is editable. The tracker reports; it does not control. To change or cancel a campaign, use the campaign page on the website — see Mini App Pages.
Short FAQ
My opens are lower than I expected.
The counters record unique opens, not taps, and only while the campaign is live. Two partners with very similar audiences also tend to see fewer opens — check the Audience Overlap rating on the partner card.
My member count went down.
Members leave channels for all sorts of reasons, and the figure is a straight net change over the campaign window. A negative number is not evidence of anything wrong with the campaign by itself.
It says "Missing campaign code."
You opened the page without a campaign attached. Find the "Campaign is Live!" DM for the campaign you want and use its Open Live Dashboard button.
Can my partner see the same numbers?
Yes — both sides get their own tracker showing the same campaign from their own point of view, which is what keeps a swap honest.
Where do the final numbers end up?
In the Campaign Complete! DM, and on the campaign's page on the website.
