Top Up with UPI or Card
The UPI / Card method lets you add money to your Onflow Ads wallet from an Indian bank account, using UPI, a debit or credit card, or netbanking. It is billed in Indian Rupees (INR) and converted to the USD your wallet is held in.
Why you would use this
- You are paying from an Indian bank, UPI app or card.
- You want the payment to complete in seconds, without leaving the Onflow Ads page.
- You want a rupee-denominated invoice you can hand to your accountant.
If you hold cryptocurrency, or you are outside India, see Top Up with Cryptocurrency instead.
At a glance
| Card title on the page | UPI / Card — "UPI, cards & netbanking" |
| Billed in | Indian Rupees (INR) |
| Minimum you can add | ₹1,000.00 |
| Maximum you can add | ₹25,000.00 |
| Platform fee | Your plan's percentage of the amount added — 9% on Free, lower on every paid tier — minimum ₹200.00, added on top |
| Quick amounts | ₹1,000 · ₹2,500 · ₹5,000 · ₹10,000 · ₹25,000 |
| Pay button | Pay with UPI / Card |
| Processed by | Razorpay, as a secure overlay on the Onflow Ads page |
| Wallet credited in | USD, at the exchange rate locked when you start the payment |
The minimum and maximum apply to the amount credited — the number you type — not to the total you pay. Because fees are added on top, the total for a ₹25,000 top-up is above ₹25,000, and that is correct.
Step by step
- Sign in and open https://onflowads.com/telegram/dashboard/wallet. The Add funds tab opens by default.
- Under Payment method, select the UPI / Card card. The amount panel appears below it, the currency symbol changes to ₹, and the field label becomes Amount (INR).
- Enter the amount you want added, in rupees — type it into Amount (INR) or tap a quick-amount chip. The hint under the field reads: "Min ₹1,000.00 · Max ₹25,000.00 credited · 9% fee (min ₹200.00) added on top". The percentage is the one your plan pays — see Deposit Fees and Your Plan.
- Review the breakdown that appears as you type:
- Adding to wallet — your rupee amount.
- Platform fee — your plan's percentage, added on top.
- Deposit bonus — extra credit, shown only when your amount reaches a bonus rung. See Deposit Bonuses.
- Payment processing fee — only shown if one applies.
- Total to pay — the rupee figure the checkout will collect.
- Credited to wallet — the USD equivalent that will land in your balance.
- A note confirming the rate, for example: "₹5,000.00 is credited in full, converted at 1 USD = ₹86.00. Fees are added on top — ₹5,450.00 is exactly what you will be charged, with nothing added at checkout."
- Click Pay with UPI / Card. If the amount is outside the limits the button stays disabled and the page shows "Enter between ₹1,000.00 and ₹25,000.00 to add."
- In the Confirm before you pay dialog, tick the age confirmation checkbox, then click Continue to payment.
- The page briefly shows "Starting secure checkout…", then the Razorpay secure checkout opens as an overlay on the page — you never leave Onflow Ads.
- In the overlay you will see the merchant name Onflow Ads and a description repeating your figures, for example "₹5,000.00 added · ₹450.00 platform fee". Your account email is pre-filled where possible. Pay with UPI, a card, or netbanking.
- When the payment completes, the overlay closes and the page shows "Payment successful — your wallet has been topped up. A receipt is on its way to your email." Your balance and the Activity list refresh straight away.
How the INR to USD conversion works
Your wallet is held in USD, but this method bills in INR, so a conversion happens:
- The conversion applies to the amount you are adding, never to the fee-inclusive total.
- The exchange rate is locked at the moment you start the payment. If the market moves while you are paying, the USD credit you were promised on screen is still exactly what lands in your wallet.
- The locked rate is printed in the breakdown note, in your receipt email, and as a footnote on your PDF invoice.
- Rates come from live market sources and are refreshed through the day. See Currencies and Exchange Rates.
This rail needs a live INR rate to promise you a credit. If the rate cannot be read, the breakdown shows "Live exchange rate is loading — please try again in a moment." and the pay button stays disabled; starting a payment anyway returns "The exchange rate is briefly unavailable. Please try again shortly." This is rare and momentary — wait a minute and retry.
What happens after you pay
- Your wallet is credited the full rupee amount you entered, expressed in USD at the locked rate.
- Activity gains a green credit with the reason "Wallet top-up".
- A branded receipt email with a PDF invoice attached is sent to your account email — see Invoices and Receipts.
- A notification is recorded in your notification centre.
- If your amount reached a deposit bonus rung, the bonus credit is granted in the same moment as the deposit — see Deposit Bonuses. A qualifying deposit may also grant bonus Boost Credits.
- The credited money is spendable but not withdrawable — see Your Balance and Transaction History.
Outcomes and what they mean
| Message on the page | What happened | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| "Payment successful — your wallet has been topped up. A receipt is on its way to your email." | Paid and credited. | Nothing. Spend away. |
| "Checkout closed before payment. You have not been charged." | You dismissed the Razorpay overlay before paying. | Click Pay with UPI / Card again when ready. |
| "That payment didn't go through. You have not been charged." | The payment failed at the provider — for example a declined card or a failed UPI collect. | Try again, or use a different instrument. |
| "Payment received — we're still confirming it. Your balance will update shortly." | The money is in but confirmation has not finalised. | Wait a few minutes and reload the wallet page. |
| "Confirming your payment…" | We are checking the outcome with the provider. | Wait for it to resolve. |
Confirmation converges from two directions — the payment provider notifies our servers directly, and your browser returning to the wallet page triggers a second check. Both paths lead to a single, exactly-once wallet credit, so a payment can never be double-credited or lost between them.
Errors you might see
| Message | Why | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| "Enter between ₹1,000 and ₹25,000 to add to your wallet." | Your amount is outside the limits for the amount credited. | Enter an amount inside the range. |
| "Enter a valid amount." | The amount could not be read as a number. | Re-type the amount using digits only. |
| "Please sign in to continue." | Your session expired. | Sign in again and restart the top-up. |
| "Please confirm you meet the minimum legal age to pay online before continuing." | The age confirmation was not given. | Tick the box in Confirm before you pay, then click Continue to payment. |
| "Please refresh the page and try again." | The page had gone out of date. | Refresh with Ctrl+R (Cmd+R on a Mac) and start again. |
| "Top-up isn't available right now." | The UPI rail is not currently live on the platform. | Try the cryptocurrency method, or check back later. |
| "Payment module is still loading — please try again in a moment." | The secure checkout script had not finished loading. | Wait a couple of seconds and click the pay button again. |
| "Couldn't open the payment page. Please try again." / "Couldn't start the payment. Please try again." | The checkout could not be opened or the order could not be created. | Retry; if it persists, contact support. |
| "Network error — please try again." | Your connection dropped mid-request. | Check your connection and retry. |
| "Too many attempts. Please wait a minute and try again." | Wallet actions are rate-limited for safety. | Wait a short while, then retry. |
Edge cases
I closed the browser tab right after paying. Your payment still credits. The provider notifies our servers independently of your browser, so closing the tab cannot lose a confirmed payment. Reopen the wallet page a few minutes later to see the credit and check your email for the receipt.
My bank shows a deduction but the payment reported as failed. Banks routinely place and then auto-reverse a hold on a failed attempt. If the money has not returned within a few hours, contact support@onflowads.com with the date, amount and any reference — a genuinely failed charge is traced and refunded in full.
I was charged more than the Total to pay. That should never happen: the total we quote is the entire charge, and nothing is added at the checkout. If your statement shows more, send us your invoice number and the statement line and we will investigate immediately.
I paid twice by mistake. Each top-up is a separate order and both will credit. A duplicate charge for the same order is refunded in full — see Refunds.
Can I get the money back to my bank? Only through a top-up refund request, only within 12 hours, and only if none of it has been spent. A UPI or card refund always goes back to the original payment method. See Requesting a Top-up Refund.
FAQ
Do I need an Indian bank account? This rail is designed for Indian UPI, cards and netbanking. If your instrument is not accepted, use Top Up with Cryptocurrency.
Why is my wallet credited in dollars when I paid rupees? All Onflow Ads balances are held in USD so that prices are the same for everyone. The rupees you add are converted at the rate locked when you start the payment, and that rate is printed on your invoice.
Can I pay in rupees without the conversion? No — the wallet itself is a USD balance. You can still display your balance in rupees at any time; see Currencies and Exchange Rates.
Why is the fee more than my plan's percentage on a small top-up? Because of the ₹200.00 minimum fee. Your invoice shows the effective percentage, with your plan's own rate named beneath it, so the figure you see is the honest one.
Where is my invoice? Emailed automatically, with a PDF attached, the moment the credit lands. See Invoices and Receipts.
