Ask Telegram readers a question, read the answer honestly

Onflow Pulse, built into Onflow, sends one anonymous native Telegram poll to channels that chose to host polls: from 10 channels up to 25 on Free and 200 on the larger plans. It stays open for 24 hours to 72 hours, and the report shows how each channel's readers answered, with ranges that say how sure the numbers are.

Two sides

Ask a question, or host polls in your channel

A brand writes the poll and picks the kind of channels to ask. Channel owners decide whether to host polls at all, and which ones.

For the brand

Write a question with two to twelve answers, an optional description and photo, then choose who to ask.

  • Target by category, language, country, channel size and a lowest Onflow Verified score.
  • Let only channel members vote (on by default), and limit voting to up to 12 countries if you want.
  • Every question is screened before it goes out; questions that offer anything for a vote are refused.
  • The quote shows the cap you authorise and the split: Onflow Credit goes toward the platform fee, and the channels' fees come from the wallet.

For the channel owner

Turn on polls for a connected channel where our bot is an administrator that can post, and set your rules.

  • The categories you accept, your lowest fee and the most polls a week.
  • Accept or decline each offer, or let offers that match your rules accept themselves. An offer not answered within 12 hours expires.
  • The bot posts the poll and closes it at the end of its window. You never type anything by hand.
  • Paid your fee 7 days after the poll completes, if it stayed up until then. If the brand disputes it, the fee is held until our team decides: release, split or refund.
How it works

From one question to every channel's answer

Nothing is charged until you confirm, nothing beyond the cap you confirm is ever charged, and every host fee waits in escrow until the poll has done its job.

  1. Brand

    Write and target

A question, 2 to 12 answers, and who to ask. It is screened before anything is sent.

  2. Escrow

    Confirm the cap

Each invited channel's fee by size band, plus the platform fee of 15%, held in escrow. Onflow Credit can pay only the platform fee; the channels' fees come from the wallet.

  3. Channel owners

    Hosts accept

Within 12 hours. At launch, the share of every channel that didn't accept comes back to you.

  4. Telegram

    The poll runs

The bot posts it, checks it stays up, and closes it after 24 hours to 72 hours.

  5. Report and payout

    Read, then pay

The report is ready at close. Each host that kept the poll up is paid 7 days later.

When money comes back. If a channel deletes the poll before it closes, and our checks prove it, that channel is not paid, its fee comes back to you and its reliability score takes a penalty; Onflow keeps the platform fee, because the poll was posted and monitored. An upheld dispute works the same way. If a poll fails because of a fault on our side, a Telegram outage included, everything for that channel comes back, platform fee too, and the channel is not paid or penalised. If the cause is unclear, the money is held until our team decides. Each part comes back to where it came from.

The poll itself

A native Telegram poll, anonymous and closed on time

Readers see an ordinary Telegram poll in the channel they already read. It is anonymous, takes one answer, and keeps its results hidden until it closes, so early votes don't steer later ones.

We never see who voted. Telegram gives us the totals for each answer in each channel, and that is all the report is built from.

Pulse polls never offer a prize, a reward or a chance to win anything, and channels that host them agree not to either. A question or description with words like win, prize, giveaway, reward, free, vote to or chance to is refused before it is sent.

Telegram's own limits, counted Telegram's way. A question of up to 300 characters, 2 to 12 answers of up to 100 characters each, and a description of up to 1,024. Characters are counted as Telegram counts them, so most emoji count as two. A poll that Telegram would refuse is refused before anything is charged.

The report

Numbers with their uncertainty, in plain words

For each channel, the share of voters who picked each answer. Across the network, a range for each answer worked out by treating each channel as one unit, so one big channel can't speak for everyone, alongside a separate range among voters, labelled as such.

Each channel's response rate is compared with what is typical for channels of its size. On Plus and above, the report adds breakdowns by category, language, country and channel size, comparisons with other polls once at least 5 comparable polls exist, and a download as CSV or PDF.

The people who vote choose to vote, so a poll says how they answered, not what every reader thinks. The report says so.

When hosts are paid

One payout rule, shown to both sides

Every host fee waits in escrow. When a channel's poll closes with its results captured, the clock starts, and the poll page shows both the brand and the host the date the money lands and why.

  1. The poll closesResults captured in that channel. The order is complete.
  2. 72 hours laterThe brand's window to dispute that channel's payout closes.
  3. 7 days laterThe fee lands in the host's wallet as withdrawable money.
  • Good7 days, for most accounts.
  • Watch10 days.
  • Restricted14 days.
  • Frozen21 days, for orders already running.

The band is read when the payout is due, so a host whose reliability recovers gets the shorter wait. No plan, perk or support request makes a payout faster.

Disputes, within 72 hours

Only the brand on that order can dispute a channel's payout, with a reason and evidence, inside the window. The payout waits until it is decided: paid to the host (never before the usual wait), split, or the host's fee refunded to the brand; Onflow keeps the platform fee. A late dispute is refused.

Release early, the brand's choice

Once the bot has confirmed a poll is live, the brand may release that host's payout before the wait ends, on the website only. It can't be undone, and for that order the brand gives up:

  • Disputes: you can no longer dispute that order.
  • Refunds: the released money is not refunded for any reason.
  • Make-goods and guarantees: none are owed for that order any more.
  • Brand Safety Shield pause and Brand Lift wave refunds: none for that order.
  • Onflow's help with fraud: the money has left Onflow's hands.

To confirm, the brand ticks each item, types RELEASE, re-enters the password (and a 2FA code where set) and waits out a 10-second countdown. Only cash whose deposit has cleared is released early; the part paid with Onflow Credit always waits. It isn't offered for your own or linked channels, or when either account is Restricted or Frozen.

Two more ways to use it

Ask your own readers, or test a headline before you book

Pulse for your own channel

Run a poll in a channel you own, free within your plan's monthly allowance below. Your report compares your answers with the network where enough comparable polls exist.

Test before you buy

Included from the Lite plan. Put two headlines to readers in at least 10 channels and see which one they prefer. Then book the preferred one as a Paid Promotions ad in one step. A preference in a poll is not a promise of how the ad will perform.

What it costs

Brand polls on every plan; your plan sets the reach and the depth

A brand poll costs the channels' fees plus the platform fee of 15%. Onflow Credit can pay the platform fee; the channels' fees are paid from the wallet. Hosting polls is free on every plan, and hosts are paid the same way on every plan.

The pro report adds breakdowns by segment, comparisons with the network and CSV and PDF export. The services discount applies to the Brand Lift study fee and to Onflow's other own services, never to channels' poll fees, the platform fee or any payout. A plan never changes a poll's result.

Measuring a campaign? Onflow Brand Lift runs polls before and after a Paid Promotions campaign and compares them with channels that didn't run it. Compare every plan on the pricing page.

Common questions

Do voters get anything for voting?

No. A Pulse poll never offers a prize, a reward or a chance to win anything, and a channel that hosts polls agrees not to offer one either. A question or description that uses words like win, prize, giveaway, reward, free, vote to or chance to is refused before it is sent.

Can I see who voted?

No. Every Pulse poll is an anonymous Telegram poll. Nobody, including us and the channel, sees who voted or how any one person voted; the report holds totals per option per channel.

What am I charged, and when?

When you confirm, you authorise a cap: the fee of every channel invited plus the platform fee. It is charged then into escrow. Onflow Credit can pay only the platform fee; the channels' fees are paid from your wallet, and if the wallet doesn't cover them the poll can't launch. The share for channels that did not accept by the deadline is refunded when the poll launches. If a channel deletes the poll early, its fee comes back and Onflow keeps the platform fee.

When is a channel paid?

7 days after its poll closes with the results captured, as withdrawable money in its wallet, unless the brand opened a dispute within 72 hours of the close. Accounts in a lower reliability band wait longer: 10 days in Watch, 14 in Restricted, 21 in Frozen. Both sides see the date on the poll. A channel that deletes the poll before it closes is not paid.

How does a brand dispute a payout?

Open the poll, choose Dispute on that channel's row within 72 hours of the poll closing, and give a reason and evidence. The payout waits until the dispute is decided: paid to the channel (never before the 7 days), split, or the channel's fee refunded to the brand, with Onflow keeping the platform fee. Disputes after 72 hours are refused.

Can a brand release a payout early?

Yes, once the bot has confirmed the poll is live, on the website only. It is irreversible: for that order the brand gives up disputes, refunds, make-goods, guarantees, Brand Safety Shield pause refunds, Brand Lift wave refunds and Onflow's help with fraud. The brand ticks each item, types RELEASE, re-enters the password (and a 2FA code where set) and waits out a short countdown. The part paid with Onflow Credit is never released early.

Can a host be penalised for something they did not do?

No. A host's score drops for a deleted poll only when our checks prove the host's own act: the channel could be read, the bot was still an admin, and the poll was gone on several checks spread over time. A Telegram outage, a fault on our side or a check that could not tell never counts; a person reviews it instead. Rewards for votes are decided by a person after the host has had the chance to answer. A penalty found wrong is reversed with everything it caused. How many polls a host can take depends on their reliability band: fewer in Watch, none in Restricted.

Which plan do I need?

Brand polls run on every plan. Your plan sets how many channels one poll can ask, whether you can test headlines before you buy, whether the report has segment breakdowns, network benchmarks and CSV and PDF export, how many free polls you can run in your own channel each month, and whether Brand Lift is included. Hosting polls is free on every plan.

Does Pulse promise a result?

No. Pulse tells you how the people who chose to vote answered, with ranges that say how sure that is. It never promises a number of voters, an outcome or a lift in anything.
