What it is

An exchange that runs on reciprocity, not payment

The Subscriber Exchange is a free, reciprocal ad exchange for Telegram channel owners. You agree to host other members' ads in your channel, and in return you can run your own ad across everyone else's.

When your channel hosts

Another member's ad appears in your channel as an ordinary post.

  • It is posted for you and removed automatically after a full day
  • You choose the kind of content you are willing to host
  • Every placement that runs its full term earns you credits

When you advertise

Your own ad is shown to the readers of other members' channels.

  • You write the ad and send it for review
  • Once approved, it spreads across other members' channels
  • You watch placements, views and clicks land

Who it is for. Channel owners who want new subscribers without paying for promotion, and creators with an audience to trade. If you would rather pay for guaranteed placements, that is what Paid Promotions is for. The Subscriber Exchange is the free, mutual alternative.

How it helps

New readers for your channel, on your terms

What you give is a little room in your channel. What you get is room in other members' channels.

Growth without an ad budget

Your ad reaches the readers of other channels in return for the ads you host. Nothing is paid for a placement.

Readers who are likely to care

Each ad is placed in channels of a similar size and topic, so it is seen by people who already follow channels like yours.

A steady flow, never a flood

A campaign's placements are spread out over the weeks that follow, never sent in a burst.

Your channel stays yours

You choose the kind of content you are willing to host, you can ask to approve each ad before it posts, and you can refuse any specific ad without a penalty.

Four steps

How the exchange works

You set it up once. After that the hosting, the posting and the taking down are done for you.

1

Connect your channel

Create your free account, link your Telegram account and add the public channel you want to grow.

2

Choose what you host

Set the kind of content you are comfortable showing your readers. You can ask to approve every ad first.

3

Host ads

Members' ads are posted in your channel and removed automatically. Each one that runs its full term earns you credits.

4

Run your own ad

Write your ad and send it for review. Once approved, it spreads across other members' channels.

Hosting comes first. The exchange is host first: your own ad can run once at least one of your channels is hosting. The step-by-step guide, with screenshots, is in the Subscriber Exchange guide.

Top features

What the exchange gives you

The tools a channel owner needs to take ads in with confidence and send their own out.

Automatic placement

No searching for partners and no messages back and forth. Placement is automatic: each ad is matched to channels of a similar size and topic.

Approve ads before they post

Switch on approval for a channel, then approve or decline each ad before anything reaches your subscribers.

Refuse any ad

Remove an unwanted ad from your channel without a penalty, and block it permanently.

Targeting that grows with you

Target an exchange ad by topic and language on every plan, and by country, channel size and time of day as your plan rises.

Private on both sides

Advertisers see totals: placements, views and clicks, never which channels ran their ad. Hosts never learn who wrote an ad they carried.

Write your ad with AI

Describe what you want to say in plain language and a draft of your post is written for you. It is optional: every ad can be written by hand.

Prefer one partner? A swap is a direct, disclosed one-to-one promotion with one partner channel, instead of sending your ad across the whole exchange.

Common questions

Is the Subscriber Exchange free?

Yes. No money changes hands for a placement: the exchange runs on reciprocity, not payment. You host other members' ads in your channel and your own ad runs across theirs. Creating an account is free.

Do I have to host ads before I can run my own?

Yes. The exchange is host first: your own ad can run once at least one of your channels is hosting.

Can I control which ads appear in my channel?

Yes. You choose the kind of content you are willing to host, you can ask to approve each ad before it posts, and you can refuse any specific ad without a penalty.

How long does an ad stay in my channel?

A full day. Each ad is posted for you, stays up for that time and is then removed automatically, so there is nothing for you to take down.

Will other members know which channels ran my ad?

No. Advertisers see totals: placements, views and clicks, never which channels ran their ad. Hosts never learn who wrote an ad they carried. The one exception is a swap, a direct one-to-one promotion that both channels agree to.

How is this different from Paid Promotions and Cross-Promotion?

In Paid Promotions an advertiser pays for a placement in a channel they choose. In Cross-Promotion you pick a partner channel and swap posts with it. In the Subscriber Exchange nothing is paid and placement is automatic.
